How do I join Makandeal?
Just click "Sign Up" at the top right corner and provide us your name, email address and create a password.
What is in the "My Wish List" tab?
"My Wish List" consists of the deals you wanted. You can easily add deals to your wish list by clicking on "Add to My Wish List".
I forgot my password or I want to reset it.
If you have forgotten your password, no worries, you can easily request a new one.
- Go to the Forgot Password page.
- Enter your email address in the space provided. You will automatically receive an email with a link to reset your password. If you don't receive this email, please check your Spam or Junk Mail folder.
Why am I not getting emails from Makandeal?
First, check your email spam folder. If you find our emails there, add us to your address book or safe sender list so our emails get to your inbox. Otherwise, double check if you have subscribed to our newsletters.
How do I manage my account settings?
Sign in and then roll over your name in the top right corner. From here, click on "My Dashboard" to manage your current account settings.
How do I update the email address on my account?
Once you have signed in, click on your name in the top right corner. From here, click on "My Dashboard" and proceed to change your email address and password on this page.
How do I change my password?
You can change your password anytime you want.
- Sign in your Makandeal account and go to "My Account".
- Click on "Change Password" and key in your Current Password, New Password and confirm your New Password.
Is our information save with Makandeal?
Don’t worry, we will never sell our customers’ information to anyone, anyhow without your consent.
What if I receive the message "email / password incorrect"?
Make sure you are signing in with the email address that you have used to register with Makandeal. If you have verified that you are using the correct email address, your password may be incorrect. You can reset your password by clicking on "Forgot Password?". You will then be directed to a page to enter your email address. Enter your registered email address and you will receive an email with a link to reset your password.
If I have a Facebook account, can I use it to log in and how?
Of course you can! Just go to the Makandeal "Sign In" page and click on the "Sign In with Facebook" button. It will prompt the Facebook log in page for you to sign in. It's as simple as that!
How do I view the deals I've bought?
Your recent purchases will be shown under "My Purchase History".
I like a deal being displayed - how do I get it?
Shopping at Makandeal.com is simple!
- Click on the deal you like and read the deal description and fine print thoroughly.
- If you wish to purchase the deal, click "Buy Now".
- Sign in to your account and enter your details.
- Check that all information is correct and click on "Pay Now".
Is it safe to buy deals on Makandeal.com?
All payments and transactions conducted on Makandeal are securely protected. To ensure that your information is kept secure, please ensure that you sign out of your Makandeal account after using a public or shared computer.
The discount I received didn't apply to my Makandeal order. What should I do?
If your voucher code is not working, please:
- Check if your voucher is still valid. The redemption date is stated on your voucher.
- Check that your voucher has not expired. Once the voucher expires, the voucher code will not work. You can check your voucher expiry date on your voucher. Still no luck? Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or our customer service team at 603 2247 1239 on Monday to Friday, from 10AM - 5PM and provide us with your voucher code, security code, order number and purchased date. We will be able to assist you.
Can I buy more than one deal at a time?
Yes! By using our shopping cart feature, you can buy different Makandeals in one transaction. To add a deal to your cart, just click "Buy Now" on the deal page. The deal will be added to your cart automatically, and you can click "Continue Shopping" to find other deals you are interested in. To view the items in your cart or to check out anytime, click on the cart button at the upper right corner of any Makandeal page.
How do I add deals to my cart?
Click on the deal you like and if you wish to purchase the deal, click 'Buy Now'. The deal will be added to your cart automatically.
How long do I have to buy a deal?
Most of the Makandeals are only available for a limited time. If you find a deal that says "Limited time remaining", it means it can sell out at any moment, so be sure to grab it fast!
I want to buy this as a gift but is it possible?
Yes. All merchants that we partner with have been informed that Makandeals can be purchased or given as a gift, unless the fine print specifically states otherwise. As long as the voucher code hasn't been used yet, the person you have given the Makandeal voucher to will not have a problem redeeming it.
Is it possible to remove the price from the voucher?
Unfortunately we can't make any edits to the voucher. The value of the deal will therefore be shown on the voucher. Note: For data protection reasons, any queries related to the voucher will have to be made by the person who purchased it.
How long is a Makandeal available on the website?
Each Makandeal is available for purchase on the website for an unfixed duration period. Our merchants have the right to terminate a deal promotion anytime. Therefore, grab it fast before it’s gone or sold out!
Is it possible to buy a deal after the deal ends on the website?
Unfortunately, once the deal has ended, it is no longer possible to purchase the deal. But keep an eye on our site as we have new deals every week and often features some of our best deals! You can also keep up to date with the latest promotions by subscribing to Makandeal newsletter.
How many vouchers are available for each deal?
Each deal has a fixed capacity limit in which the relevant merchant has agreed to offer on Makandeal. However, we do not disclosed the figure as it is commercially sensitive information.
Where do the images I see on the deal come from?
We normally use images taken at the merchant's location or of the exact deal being offered. However, in cases where this is not possible, the images used will be meant for illustrative purposes only and may not be a direct representation of the dishes or products offered.
What forms of payment methods do you offer?
We accept major credit or debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, and even Paypal. If you do not have any of those, you can easily make your payment via online banking.
How will I know that my payment went through successfully?
You will receive an email confirming that your order has been received.
I've made a bank transfer and I still haven't gotten my confirmation email?
If you still did not receive any confirmation from us after 24 hours, please do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com or our customer service team at 603 2247 1239 on Monday to Friday, from 10AM - 5PM
When and how will I receive my voucher?
Your Makandeal vouchers will be emailed to you after successful payment.
You also have the option to access and download your vouchers at any time by signing in to your Makandeal account, under My Account > My Purchase History. The vouchers will appear in your account the same time as they are emailed to you.
I haven't received my voucher! What should I do?
If you cannot find your voucher in your email inbox, check your Makandeal account under My Account > My Purchase History to see if the voucher has appeared in this section. Also, check your Junk Mail or Spam folder for your Makandeal voucher. To prevent this from happening, be sure to add firstname.lastname@example.org to your Safe Senders list or contact list.
How long is my voucher valid for?
All vouchers are valid for 90 days starting from the 7th day after the purchasing date. You can find the validity period and expiry date stated on your voucher.
What if my voucher has expired?
Please be aware of the expiry date as once your voucher has expired, you will no longer be able to redeem it if you haven’t already done so.
Under certain circumstances, a refund of your Makandeal voucher may be given in the form of Makandeal credit if you have been unable to redeem your voucher within the period of validity by no fault of your own (e.g. the merchant refused to accept any booking within the period of validity).
If this is the case, please contact our customer service representative who will require you to provide them with information regarding the issue.
I can't seem to redeem my voucher.
If you ever have trouble redeeming your Makandeal voucher, we are glad to assist you in the following ways:
Our first response will always be to try and help you redeem your voucher for the deal you have purchased.
If we are unable to assist you in redeeming your voucher due to merchant related issues, we will offer you Makandeal credit to try another experience. The offer will be based on the purchased price of your voucher. The compensation to you is on a case-by-case basis.
If you do not want Makandeal credit to use towards another offer because Makandeal has disappoint you and it is within the validity period, we will refund you the purchased price of your voucher.

What if the voucher code is not valid?
If your voucher code is not working, please:
Check if your voucher is still valid. The redemption date is stated on your voucher.
Check that your voucher has not expired. Once the voucher expires, the voucher code will not work. You can check your voucher expiry date on your voucher.
Still no luck? Contact us and provide us with your voucher code, security code, order number and purchased date. We will be able to assist you.
How should I redeem my voucher?
Thank you for purchasing with Makandeal. Your voucher will be emailed to your inbox. If you are a Makandeal member, you can also view and print your voucher in "My Purchase History".
For the actual redemption process, please refer to your voucher containing all the necessary information on how to redeem your Makandeal voucher. In general, you will have to:
Call the merchant to make an appointment or booking (Contact details of the merchant can be found in your Makandeal voucher).
Have your Makandeal voucher in hand. You can either print out the voucher, or download the Makandeal mobile app and sign in to your member account to show the merchant your purchased voucher from your “Vouchers” tab.
Then just relax and enjoy the experience as the merchant will take care of the rest!
A few important things to keep in mind:
You will not be able to use your voucher until the code is valid or within the redemption period as stated on your Makandeal voucher.
You will not be able to use your voucher after the expiration date, which will be stated clearly on the voucher.
Be careful, some vouchers include a recommended or a mandatory book-by-date! Don't miss that date!
How do I make a booking with my Makandeal voucher?
Instructions on how to make a booking is explained in your Makandeal voucher, under “How to Redeem Your Makandeal Voucher" or you can call the merchant to make a booking (contact details of the merchant can be found in your Makandeal voucher).
Due to the large number of Makandeal vouchers sold for each deal, you are advised to make a booking as soon as possible to ensure you are able to secure a suitable date and time. You may face difficulties if you attempt to book near the end of the voucher validity period.
What if there are no more bookings available?
In the event you are unable to book your Makandeal voucher for a suitable date and time, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.
I want to cancel my booking. How do I do that?
If you wish to cancel your booking, check the fine print of your voucher for details on cancellations and rescheduling, as these will depend on the merchant's own terms and conditions.
Must I use my voucher the same day as I bought it?
You can use your Makandeal voucher any time within the redemption period, which will be stated clearly on your Makandeal voucher. However, please note that some Makandeals can be very popular and we highly recommend you book well in advance. Booking times are subject to availability, and waiting to book towards the end of the voucher's validity period could prevent you from obtaining a suitable date and time.
When do I need to redeem my Makandeal Voucher?
Each deal on Makandeal includes a redemption period. This is the time within which customers must redeem their voucher. No redemption is allowed after the voucher expiry date.
How do I access or print my voucher?
First of all, thank you for your purchase at Makandeal! If you are a Makandeal member, you will be able to access your Makandeal voucher from My Account > My Purchase History. Alternatively, your voucher will be emailed to you after successful payment.
What happens when a business closes?
If our merchant closes permanently, we promise to honor the refund of unredeemed Makandeal vouchers as per your voucher purchase price.
Promo & Discounts
I just received a promo code from Makandeal. How do I use the promo code?
Promo codes are special codes that enable Makandeal customers to enjoy additional discount. Using a promo code to enjoy savings is as easy as 1-2-3! Simply:
- Go to the shopping cart page after you have selected the deals which you would like to purchase.
- Under the "Enter promo code" input box, enter the promo code you have received.
- Click on the "Redeem Now" button and enjoy your additional discount!
I am unable to use my promo code on certain deals. What's wrong?
Makandeal promo codes are applicable to all deals unless otherwise stated. However, it could happen if the promo code has expired, or if the promo code is limited to a certain number of usage and has reached its usage limit.
My promo code is not working properly and the discount is not displayed at the checkout page. What can I do?
After entering the promo code, click on the "Redeem Now" button, and your shopping cart will auto refresh to display the grand total. If you have tried to utilise your promo code and it doesn't seem to work, please feel free to email us at email@example.com or our customer service team at 603 2247 1239 on Monday to Friday, from 10AM - 5PM.
How many times can I use the same promo code?
Under normal circumstances, promo codes are generated for one time use only, unless stated otherwise on the promo code's terms and conditions.
Can I use more than one promo code for the same order?
Unfortunately only one promo code can be used for each order.
Is there a minimum I have to spend?
Sign up promo code is applicable on a minimum purchase of RM100 whereas other promo codes are subject to individual terms and conditions.
My Credit / Earn RM2
What is My Credit all about?
You will receive Makandeal credit under these conditions:
- When you invite your friends, relatives and colleagues to sign up through the invitation link within 72 hours.
- When your friend purchase the deals you recommend or share from the deal page, either by email, Facebook, twitter, or Pinterest within 72 hours.
Can I use promo code with My Credit?
Unfortunately, you can choose to use either the voucher code or the credit for single transaction only.
What is the Earn RM2 about?
In order to receive the RM2 credit, you need to recommend a deal or invite a friend to Makandeal.
How do I refer a friend for RM2 in My Credit?
Go to My Account > Earn RM2, key in your friends' emails to send them an invitation to sign up for a Makandeal account.
I have just sent a referral to my friend - now what?
If someone signs up through your invitation link within 72 hours, you will receive RM2 Makandeal credit, which can be use to purchase any of our deals! What's more, there is no limit to how much credit you can earn!
I referred a friend to Makandeal, but didn't receive my RM2 credit. Why?
Once someone clicks the link you sent them, subscribes to Makandeal within 72 hours, and buys his or her Makandeal of RM10 or more, you will receive RM2 in My Credit seven days after their purchase is made. Unfortunately, If your friend doesn't click on the link you sent them before making their first purchase, you will not receive any referral credits.
How many friends can I refer for Earn RM2?
You can share Makandeal to as many friends as you like. Do note that we reserved the right to refuse or withdraw credit when we believe that the recommendation feature is being abused. If the abuse of the feature continues, we reserve the right to terminate your account.
Will My Credit expire?
Makandeal credits are valid for one year upon receiving.
How can I use my Makandeal credit?
Once you have received your Makandeal credit, the amount will appear in your account under My Account > My Credit. You may use it to purchase any of our deals. Simply check the "Use My Credit" box during checkout. If you still have credit remaining after your purchase, you may use it on your next purchase.
Makandeal Mobile App
I can't log in on the mobile app. What should I do?
Sorry to hear that you are having trouble logging in our mobile app! You may try uninstalling the Makandeal app from your mobile device and then re-installing the app. It's free, so don’t worry, you can download it as many times as you need.
How do I use the mobile app to redeem a Makandeal?
After installing the app and buying a Makandeal, go to the Menu in the corner, and select Voucher. When you are ready to use your Makandeal, click the button to download your voucher or show it to merchant.
How do I download Makandeal Mobile App?
Android users may download Makandeal mobile app via Google Play, whereas iOS users may get the app downloaded via App Store.
How do I subscribe to the Makandeal newsletter?
In order to receive our newsletter, enter your email address in the newsletter registration box at the bottom of our website.
How do I unsubscribe from the Makandeal newsletter?
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any Makandeal Newsletter.
What if I have registered for the newsletter but I am not receiving it?
Our newsletters will sometimes end up in your email's spam or Junk Mail folder, so the first step would be to check there. If the newsletters are being sent there, please add firstname.lastname@example.org to your address book to ensure you get emails from Makandeal.
